Comedy legend and Emmy Award-winning actor Katt Williams announces THE DARK MATTER TOUR is coming to North Charleston. The highly anticipated tour will make a stop at the North Charleston Coliseum on March 29, promising a night of unparalleled comedy that breaks through boundaries and challenges the status quo.
With a career spanning over 20 years, Katt Williams has earned a worldwide reputation as one of today's top entertainers, having developed a career seeded with thousands of sold-out arenas, an expansive list of starring roles on the small screen and memorable performances in major box office hits. Since performing his first stand-up show as a teenager, Williams took the comedy world by storm. He quickly developed a unique style of stand-up that combines articulate and sharp dialogue rooted in conversations reflecting the American political landscape. By 1999, he had cultivated a loyal fan base and was performing on some of the most notable comedy stages across the nation.
Clear Bag Policy
Fans are strongly encouraged to not bring any types of bags to the North Charleston Coliseum & PAC, however, outlined below are types of bags that will be permitted:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 14” x 6” x 14”
- One-gallon plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, not to exceed 4.5” x 6.5”
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at designated entrances specifically for this purpose.
- Diaper bags will be allowed for families with infants and toddlers. Child must be present.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.
Fans will continue to be able to carry items allowed into the venues such as non-professional cameras, binoculars, and smartphones as long as they are in their pockets or one of the approved bags outlined above.
Food and Beverage
The North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center are now cashless facilities for food and beverage services.

PARKING ALERT
Officials have issued a PARKING ALERT for Friday, March 29 at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center. Comedian Katt Williams will be in the North Charleston Coliseum, and guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai will be playing in the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. Capacity crowds are expected for both events.
Attendees are highly encouraged to carpool and arrive early as space is limited.
North Charleston Coliseum parking lots will open at 4:00 PM.
