The North Charleston Coliseum Complex is hiring Seasonal PT Ticket Office Staff. Starting wage is $9.15/hour. Duties include ticket sales for concerts, sporting events, family and Broadway shows. Basic computer and cash handling skills required. Applicant must be customer service oriented and competent while working in a fast-paced environment. Shifts available are morning, evening and weekend. Weekend and Holiday hours required. Work schedule will be event driven. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary from week to week. Subscription Sales Coordinator

Job Title: Subscription Sales Coordinator

Major Responsibilities:

  • Sell subscriptions for Broadway and POPS! Series in the Performing Arts Center
  • Host season subscriber events; Act as concierge for all Broadway and POPS! Subscriber performances
  • Maintain subscriber benefits
  • Provide customer service to all Broadway and POPS! series subscribers as needed via email or by phone
  • Addresses questions and provide assistance with Account Manager
  • Provide assistance to subscribers with additional ticketing needs (non-Broadway/POPS! shows)
  • Work with Ticket Office managers to ensure all season tickets and parking passes are ready to be distributed to subscribers in a timely manner
  • Sell group tickets to subscribers and general public; respond to and process group inquiries
  • Must learn/be efficient in all Ticketmaster software
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Operate Ticketmaster software and a personal computer using Excel, Windows and Microsoft Office software
  • Handle/reconcile large sums of money utilizing prescribed cash management controls
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial and ticket office procedures
  • Work in a fast paced environment and handle heavy workload that can present stressful situations
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results
  • Work independently, exercising judgement and initiative

Part-Time Receptionist

POSITION: Front Desk Receptionist 

DEPARTMENT: Administration

FLSA STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt 

STARTING WAGE: $8.40/hour

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: OFFICE MANAGER

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

This position answers all incoming calls, directs all Full-time visitors and/or appointments to the appropriate staff or department and performs office clerical duties as assigned for the North Charleston Coliseum Administrative Office.

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Open Administrative Office each day. Unlock Administrative Office door, supply room door and postage meter cabinet.

Answer telephone calls and provide information to callers.

Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff, office or department.

Answer radio-direct calls from staff.

Post letters and large envelopes through postage meter. Periodically check meter for needed ink or funds.

Mail the bulk Ticket Office Broadway brochures and season ticket holder envelopes.

Check ID and distribute employee paychecks every payroll Friday. Stamp and mail paychecks that were not distributed.

Distribute employee applications during periods of hire. Copy Identification and distribute other employment forms as needed.

Keep Lost and Found log updated. Distribute lost and found items as needed.

Maintain Event Binder -- Color code maps for upcoming events, keep binder in event order and discard past events.

Accept and sign for office supply delivery as needed.

Print upcoming event list for distribution to guest as needed. Keep reception tables orderly and replenish brochures as needed.

Make name labels for all staff mailboxes and file labels for Receptionist desk folders.

Keep color coded Staff Directory, Guest Services Rolodex, Staff Business Card Rolodex and all other desk information pertinent to position up-to-date and accurate.

Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated knowledge of proper telephone etiquette, basic knowledge of techniques used in good public relations and knowledge of proper office procedure. Previous receptionist experience in a similar working environment preferred. High school diploma required. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for those with disabilities.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Demonstrated sufficient computer knowledge.

Ability to speak, read and write English.
