South of Broadway Theatre Company (SOBTC) will donate 500 tickets to underserved school children for this final show. Communities in Schools (CIS) is tasked with distributing the tickets to youth in the Tri-County area. “There are so many students in our community who never have the opportunity to attend live performances” says Mary Gould, founder of SOBTC, “We are delighted to have been able to bring three culturally diverse programs to the awareness of this audience: “The Broadway Boys,” on February 25, 2012, “A Merry Medieval Holiday Show,” on December 2nd, and the mystical traditions of the Celtic peoples on January 20, 2013. Many thanks to our sponsors and particularly Boeing South Carolina for making this possible.
Additional sponsors of the “Boeing Presents South of Broadway Theatre Company Concerts” are: the City of North Charleston, North Charleston Performing Arts Center, and Palmetto Adult and Children’s Urology.
